Sandalwood essential oil is distilled from the heartwood of the sandalwood tree, and its woody, sweet, earthy aroma is one of the oldest and most treasured scents in the world.
It has been burned, worn and offered in Indian ritual for centuries, and remains a signature note in fine perfumery. Diluted here to 10 percent in nourishing jojoba oil, it is soft enough to smooth straight onto the skin, where it warms into a creamy, milky wood with a whisper of florals underneath.
The scent is quiet and grounding, the kind that settles a room rather than announces itself, which makes it a natural choice for meditation corners, unhurried evenings and slow, deliberate rituals.
